. . . actually I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but I think they're solid, and they had some fantastic tunes, especially their big hits, such as the song above. They're an iconic example of a middle-of-the-road 70s rock band, though, so that's why I mentioned them.

Pretty much. Heavy enough not to be Fleetwood Mac, but too tepid to really offend anybody. They had some fun songs but in general were too calculated and sanitized to offer much excitement.

I think all genres have artists who are worthy of note. For instance - I not particularly into dubstep, but music by 16bit is awesome. On the other side of the coin I'm not much into country music, but you can't deny the brilliance of Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson.
