What a newb.

He later explained that he only listens to the genre radios on Spotify and that's about the extent of his music listening.

I just say I listen to Wolves in Sheepskin and then engage in hour long conversations over which of their albums is best.

How much you wanna bet many of those "American bands" he's talking about are from Europe?

All I can say if you are digging enough each genre you can find at least one song which you`ll like. And I`m the one of people who compiles one crazy music playlist with rock, edm, classic, pop music.

It's dreadfully easy to do so.

Hard rock: Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin
Rock and Roll: BLue Suade Shoes by Elvis
Blues Rock: Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix
Psychedelic Rock: White Rabbit
Post-Hardcore: Laser Life by Blood Brothers
Prog: Dancing With the Moonlit Knight
Pop: Wouldn't It Be Nice
Jazz: Freddie Freeloader
Punk: Blitzkrieg Bop

I don't see what's so hard for people to pick faves.

It gets tricky when you've listened to more than 1,351 albums.
