I like the drums and the mic, but the guitar is so unfun.

The mic is awesome.

I'm sure you've seen people claiming to be musically talented because they're good at Guitar Hero... not.

And I'm also sure you could explain to me how learning about music from a video game is any different than from other mediums... not.

I have to say it.....Sweet Home Alabama by Skynard. It's wayyy too overplayed and respected in my opinion. I don't hate Skynard....they have some good stuff but I detest this song. The song's context is a pissoff to many....the whole dissing Neil Young because of his song Southern Man. What Neil said was only truth and these guys took way to much offence to it. To put his name in their music at that time was just tacky. Of course people are going to sing along to it when it comes on at a party or in a bar because everyone knows it but I don't think enough people have actually thoroughly thought about the context and circumstances behind the song.

By no means is this a bad song, it's just the lyrics are a tad...dull.
And, from this song comes misinterpretations. Scene kids think, "yay, another emo band", and all the scene kids are listening to SOAD. =/

Also, this song is nothing, absolutely NOTHING compared to other, lesser known system songs like "Sugar", "Deer Dance", and "ATWA.

Chop Suey! is their only really well known song though, and it's not that bad.

That's retarded. Guitar Hero/Rock Band has provided exposure to artists that many in the younger generation may not have heard of. Music games are also fun as hell. No one says that they are good at guitar because they can play GH.

AC/DC ~ Big Balls...maybe not their most popular song, but whenever I talk to people the only song they've heard of my AC/DC is Big Balls.

Yeah, that song is frigging awful.
