Yeah it just seems like basic vaporwave with a larger than normal focus on negitivland esque plundering. It's meh.

And mord no this isn't an mb project.

it's gotten to the point where I can't tell half the time if people on this site are being serious or not when praising an album

I've never found this meme more appropriate

Wait...is this the music of an MB member?

You mean like how I find value in Kirin J. Callinan?

Anyway, it was an aural turd because it was like someone was taking a dump in my ear. Nothing redeeming about the noise.

Yeah, my dad posted the 'aural turd' thing on my account, but I kinda agree.

It's just annoying noise, and I really don't like it.

There's an idea for an entertaining thread hidden in here somewhere.

Anyway, here's my top list for 2017. These are really just all the CD's i've got so far from this year, ranked from best to worst. I put an asterisk next to the one's that I think are great and would probably still be top list worthy after I get many more 2017 albums on my shelves.

*1. Crystal Viper - Queen of the Witches
*2. Kobra and the Lotus - Prevail I
*3. Depeche Mode - Spirit
*4. Marialy Pacheco - Duets
*5. Arch Enemy - Will to Power
6. Sarah Slean - Metaphysics
7. Dreaming Dead - Funeral for Yesterday
8. Mastercastle - Wine of Heaven

I'll get the one below in the mail any day now. Hopefully, it will be great:
?. Tori Amos - Native Invader

Does it suck nuts or do nothing?

Usually by sucking my nuts it does something, but this sucks so much nuts that it literally does nothing.

Sounds like you've been castrated, mate.

This is a trash album dude. Maybe I would have enjoyed it in my Vaporwave phase, but still wouldn't have been more than a one-time thing. Now it's just long boring garb.

Frownland 09-24-2017 08:48 PM

Exclamation points, bribes, whatever it is that I can do to make you listen to this album.

I'll take the bribe.

Frownland 09-24-2017 09:14 PM

Cool, if you listen to the album, I will pay you with the experience of having listened to that album.

You want a real country album, not a **** pop country or rock masquerading as country? She's Australian, but don't let that stop you.

I want my time back. This was nowhere near as good as you made it out to be.

I respect your opinion but you may not be aging well. I wonder what stuff on your yearly top tens would be nixed by today's you.

Frownland 09-28-2017 03:46 PM

While I do agree that it's stylistically conventional for vaporwave, there's something really unique about the fluid transitions that makes me see why OH thinks it's special.

The track Testimony on the Table is a direct recording of a track off I Tell You Everything (Just Not Outloud) by Sue Ann Harkey released in the 80's. The cassette only release it's lifted from is one of my favorite recordings of all time.
