Same, always remembered it being a consistently good album with no filler. I remember someone said to me once it was the Backstreet Boys of metal and I think that describes it well.

I remember In The End as being the best song on it btw.

Really liked them back in the day, threw them under the bus when I discovered thrash, and then recently came back to them with the assumption that at least Hybrid Theory would be decently catchy if nothing else. Nope. Just boring. Even their other albums that I tried were just as bland. I'd honestly rather listen to Limp Bizkit as at least there's an ironic fun to be had. Fred Durst has a d-bag personality but at least that's kind of funny.

I'd rather review Limp Bizkit because at least it would be something to talk about.



@Fluff Backstreet Boys of metal is pretty perfect actually, wish I thought of that.

That album was my entry into harder metal. And "The Only" is still good off Shadow Zone. Saw these guys a few times.
