I won't however give you a pass. ONE VIDEO PER POST. No more exceptions. I'll do these but after this follow the rule please, or I'll just be ignoring your suggestions. I can only do one at a time and I don't want everyone posting a fistful of videos every post or I'll get way too backed up.

Oh ****, my bad. I just missed that rule. I was thinking one per genre.
Ok, the one I feel is most important is the Holly Herndon track. You can just ignore the other two and I can start reading things more closely

One more point though: could people please throw in the title of the song they're posting, as, as in this video above, the title is truncated onscreen and I don't know what the song is called. Thought it was "Red Hash" but I see now that's the name of the album. Just would help a lot. Thanks.

Edited my original post to include song titles.

Glad you dug the track. I would expect you to be a huge American folk fan based on what I know you like. Do you actively dislike folk or have you just not checked much out?

You should clarify that in the OP because it reads like you only want one post per genre but allow for several genres per post.

OK, done. I thought everyone understood that but I guess not. It's clear now, or should be.

No it's fine: I'll do all three but separately. Just in future, one song, regardless of genre/sub-genre, per post. Thanks.

I understood you TH.

This one I did not like. Her voice put me off - sort of like listening to a banshee sing! - and the backing melodies were weird. It just didn't chime with me at all, sorry. I guess there's a reason why it's called Freak Folk.

This was pretty terrible. I really am no fan of fifties music, and rockabilly just leaves me cold. Much of it seems to sound all the same, dull and uninspired, and while I know there wasn't a whole lot to work with in the 1950s, some of the songs are just so basic. I also hate the upright bass, which is fairly prominent here. Pass on this one. If I were ever to get into rockabilly, which I feel fairly certain I never will, I'd need something more interesting than this.
