These are not numbered. You need to number them.

I assumed the order would be obvious, but ok, here you go:

1. Tori Amos - Native Invader
2. Crystal Viper - Queen of the Witches
3. Vuur - In This Moment We Are Free: Citites
4. Depeche Mode - Spirit
5. Yasmine Hamdan - Al Jamilat

That would be the best one placed first on the list, since that's how I took it that you wanted albums to be ordered.

OK, so he may not be to everyone's taste, but have you heard these, for example:
The Overly Dramatic Truth, Stepfather Factory, Tougher Colder Killer, or Tasmanian Pain Coaster?
If you have and still come away cold, then there's no hope. :D

Coin Locker Kid, Tyler, Brockhampton, clouddead, Wu-Tang, Danny Brown, Death Grips, Earl, Lil B, Ugly Mane, Three Six Mafia. I don't like any other hip-hop really, fallen out of favor with the genre.

Nah I've heard the Run The Jewels albums and his first solo album that everyone goes crazy about.

You **** with Lil B but not El? **** outta here. Even if you don't like hip hop (which is fine), that is absurd.

Nah I've listened to all the RTJ albums like 5 times at the very least, hate them. And I've given the solo album a few listens and I hate that as well nowadays. I'll check out Cancer 4 Cure though.

Also **** yes I like Lil B he's awesome.

Ninetales 12-20-2017 03:13 PM

honestly not as big a fan of El-P as a lot seem to be as well

Company Flow is ok, solo stuff is just fine, RTJ is cool but Killer Mike is better on his own

It is inarguably absurd to prefer Lil B to El-P. Sorry for the confusion.

RTJ is more of a step into conventional territory for El, so I wouldn't expect you to get much out of it. C4C (as well as I'll Sleep When You're Dead) is really something else though.

I actually don't think that Funcrusher Plus has aged well though.

Company Flow=RTJ but otherwise yes.

Everything I've heard from him even the more experimental stuff just seems woefully generic in its beat structures. The reason I like Lil B is because he sort of defines unconventionality in hip-hop.

I think his most experimental work would be Cannibal Ox only because it's pretty unmatched. El-P's innovation as a producer comes in the way that he layers his music in a dense way that ends up being both futuristic and lo-fi. He certainly utilizes a lot of hip hop roots though, so if you're not into that it can be difficult to appreciate.

I don't like him because his unconventionality has no value or thought behind it. And don't go on about how the dude is a secret genius, I think he's just a genuine idiot unsuccessfully trying to make a mainstream rap album. His best albums are like the last Metallica album where you're just surprised that it doesn't suck as much as you expected as opposed to actually being impressed with the music.

I'm sure that in 10 years RTJ will be the more poorly aged album of the two and I'll agree with you.

Cuthbert 12-20-2017 03:40 PM

RTJ4 is coming soon btw.

Reckon they'll drop it on Christmas again?

Maybe, but it just sounds so terribly aged.

And I completely disagree. Listen to Black Ken half of that is the Trout Mask Replica of 80's styled rap. It's just ****ing weird and he knows it's ****ing weird.
