Hey great post. I have some contradictory feelings about this topic so I have nothing coherent to reply with, but I will contemplate your views on it as I make sense of it. Of course, your post is also a reminder to myself that the result of these threads isn't as important as the discussion regarding the records and their place in history/what we can learn from them.
