I think I like music that I can relate to, attach memories to and have a good time to. IMO the 80s was the best musical decade, i could create the soundtrack of my childhood with Heavy Metal music from the 80s. I like some of Avenged Sevenfold's music.

So that's almost a no.

It's like you've given up and choose to keep living in the past.

If you looked forward instead of backwards, you'd also forge connections with new music and come to love new things.

It's your life, so I'm not going to say you're wrong - but I really can't see it as anything but self imposed exile from new experiences.
