I think you're too into twee to recognize twee to be honest. But indie twat music doesn't have to be twee to be indie twat. Regardless of what Weezer are going for or succeeding at they are definitely indie twats.

TBH I think indie is just rock made by dorks who think that being a dork is somehow elevated.

I think Weezer seems allright so far (still just starting to check them out), but I have no idea what this means.

"boring people who think that being twinkletoes is reason enough for the music to be interesting."

What are you saying?!

He already said that he doesn't like Weezer.

isn't Pinkerton some creepy boo-hoo girls don't like me kinda shit?

anyway what sucks about Weezer is I can go years without thinking about them at all and that their existence inspires pages of an "are they indie or not" debate

which is weird because he likes the girly pop but I guess it's just not allowed to touch his peas
Yet not so long ago he was praising Greenday and Dookie and i think he even called them indie.

I just don't like boring rock with no teeth. If I wanted to hear whatever Belle and Sebastian have to say then I can probably get it better from country.

I'm still not sure what indie rock is and if I like it or not.

There might be something on my record shelf somewhere that qualifies as indie-something, but I'm far from sure.

Super specific genre labels are overrated and I prefer to pay little to no attention to them anyway.
