Well the thing about Faith No More is they're an experimental band. They aren't a really consistent band with a consistent sound through all the tracks on their albums. They can go from Midlife crisis on Angel Dust To the cover of Easy. Maybe a few years ago I would have dismissed them as **** because they fused rap and industrial with heavy guitar rock. Just like I would have dismissed Korn. But they've definitely got some exciting tracks on at least 2 of their albums obviously I'm referring to the first two with Mike Patton as their singer.

I don't think I listen to a lot of weird music. There might be some exceptions (like this), but the vast majority of what I listen to should be accessible enough for anyone who isn't completely closed minded.

If anything, I'm listening to more and more music with shameless pop hooks.

From the album I'm obsessed with the most at the moment:

I don't know why so many modern metal bands use this ****ty, over-processed guitar tone. It makes so much melodic death metal even more unlistenable.

I don't disagree. Their two newest albums suffer from this and a ridiculous amount of overall audio compression. Makes it feel more like Evanescence than a legit heavy metal album like their older albums were, but I still like the two newest albums a lot ("Prevail I" and "Prevail II"), despite that. They've very vocal oriented in the songwriting anyway, so I just listen to them like hooky pop-rock records.

Sounds better on my stereo than on my laptop, but still.

When it comes to modern metal production, I've just learned to get along with it.

Sorry for mentioning all those Australian bands that people from other countries have never heard of. I just wanted to talk about them because in Australia they are considered great bands, if you ever even mention that the bands aren't good to people they would probably punch you right in the throat. That's fine if you didn't read it. I don't know what you're meaning with that picture of the kangaroo in response to heath Ledger because Heath ledger was a hugely successful actor in Hollywood with movies like 10 Things I hate About You, A Knights Tale, Brokeback Mountain, The Patriot and The Dark Knight. He was really successful.

I never said Delta Goodrem was good because I had a crush on her. She's a very talented piano player and singer and songwriter and even actress. She's also a really good looking woman, that's just called good genetics.

I don't know what you mean by that but I mean't the tv show The Voice. It started in the US and they made a version for Australia.

Korn aren't a great rock band But I do like a few of their songs. It's all just good and silly fun, nothing to be taken seriously. And I have noticed that some of their new material seems to be recycling their old and most popular hits.

Total bollox. Love or hate Springsteen, he gives the best show in the world, nothing less than three hours, often up to four or five. If you don't like his music that's completely another thing. If I found myself stranded at say a Death Grips concert I'd probably hate it too, but that wouldn't mean they were overrated.

There are no kangaroos anywhere near where I live they must be in other states, I live in the suburbs. Yeah i know they are from Australia but I don't think there are any around where I live. There isn't much wildlife around the suburbs of NSW. Maybe in Western Australia or the Northern Territory. You probably think people all walk around dressed like Mick Dundee but that's not how it is at all. I'd probably have to go to the zoo to see any animals like that.

Sorry to disappoint you. I saw an interview of Margot Robbie by Chris Pratt where he asks her if there were dangerous snakes and creatures around where she lived and she said that she had snakes go into her house. That's never happened to me. Maybe I've seen a few lizards outside but that's it.

More bad and overrated bands.

Smash Mouth are an alternative rock band from the 90's. Their biggest hits are All star, Walking on the Sun, Can't Get Enough of You Baby and I'm a Believer which is a cover. This band is hardly taken seriously and it's not just because of the lead singers weight. They did so many songs for soundtracks of movies like Rat Race and Shrek. They have even sampled 60's rock songs like The Doors Soul Kitchen for the song walking on the sun so that's pretty ****ing low of them. They even have other similar songs that sound very similar to songs by The Doors. This band is just commercial pop and never ever tried to be anything brilliant or taken seriously no wonder why they had so much commercial success and attention.

The Presidents of the United States of America are an Alternative Rock band from the 90s. They still are talked about in the mainstream media even though they have never done one good song in their entire careers. Their most famous songs are their cover of Video Killed the Radio star which was in the Wedding Singer soundtrack ,Peaches and Lump. They are another band like smash mouth that refuse to be taken seriously in any way which there's nothing wrong with but anyways. My sister says she likes this band but I have not seen the songs anywhere on her mp3 player. The alternative rock explosion in the 90's led to allot of bad bands like this one getting signed and having hits on the charts.

Cake are a comedy alternative rock band from the 90's. Their most famous songs are Short Skirt and Long Jacket, I will Survive and Never There. This band is a complete comedy band their most famous album Prolonging the Magic has a burgundy colored pig at the front of the album cover. I don't like comedy rock bands so maybe I'm biased here but I think this band is dumb and can't understand why people like them. My sister actually listens to them as if they're a serious band. Their song Short skirt and Long Jacket was in an ad for the Ipod nano I remember it was quite a while ago but it proved that the band were still relevant and popular.

Thanks for reading, plenty more bands to come.

Limp Bizkit are just as bad as their reputation suggests. I gave their music a real shot earlier this year and it was largely terrible.

Smash Mouth did this other song that was a complete rip off of Light My Fire but I don't know what it's called, I heard it on the radio one time. Another honorable mention would be the band Sugar Ray but do I even need to mention why they suck. The fact that they played themselves in Scooby Doo 2 sums that up entirely.
