Ja, I've recently had a moment of clarity where I realized that it's their best album. It's so deceptively complex without becoming unengaging or pretentious. Sheer brilliance. Pretty much everything they did was gold though, even the cheesier early stuff.

Nea - I love the eponymous Cars album a lot but I didn't know that first song. It's really great, and they sound rougher live, which I like
