At karaoke, the girls shake to baby one more time. The weirdos do teen spirit.

Yeah, it's so weird and out there. True outsider music.

Easily Smells Like Deodorant. If the Spears song came out today I'd probably appreciate it more, but I have something of a nostalgic disdain for that track after being overexposed to it as a kid.

It is. TBH the choice isn't as clear for me in the light of sobriety.

As a kid I used to listen to lame **** like Beatles and Pink Floyd. Then eleven-year-old me heard Baby One More Time and it changed my life and that's how I got into real music.

Smells like teen spirit any day. I'll defend Nirvana anytime, there is certainly rawness about them. They might be slicker and way more accessible than really raw punk bands, but Kurt Cobain was raw somewhat in the way John Lennon was.
I appreciate how f*cked up dirty Britney's voice is though. Many people tend to whine about pop music getting more dirty and profane, but I've never heard anything like her voice since then.

That's true

Marie Monday 02-15-2019 12:17 PM

That's amusing, I never listened to it that way but I suppose you could say that. John Lennon was naturally more funky than any grunge I've heard though

That sounds ****ing awful.
