It’s not genre stretching or pioneering but it’s exceptionally effective at being what it sets out to be. Very focused and soulful.

I'll definitely try to get into it a few more times. It's always suspicious when I not only don't like something so universally acclaimed but don't even get what other people seem to like about it. Might point to me missing something.

A lot of artists in here that I need to start listening to. Solange, FKA Twigs and Conway The Machine.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

This guy has put out so much great music so consistently it’s hard to wrap your head around. He’s the real deal, people. Always has been.

Remind Me Tomorrow by Sharon Van Etten

Emotionally direct art pop. This has that sound that made 2016 such a special year if you know what sound I mean.

Origin EP by kelly moran

This is mostly rooted in contemporary classical with softening hints of ambient.

Experimental noise with a cornucopia of interesting and peculiar sounds to sink your gray matter into.
