There was the opening movement of the lion, Royal March of the Lion with peculiar strings and piano tones.

I don't know. Asians tend to play (western) classical music and piano a lot.
The middle-east doesn't tend to like rock and roll.

"The sharif don't like it... rock the casbah, rock the casbah."


People of the West: America, Britain and Europe, especially western Europe

They talk about the "Latin" ethnicty but "Latins" (romance-language speakers) are western Europeans.
There is nothing particular "Latin" about the music of Couperin or Vivaldi. Spain is still a western European nation.
