Wink The best Britpop songs ?

Born in London in the early 1990s, in grimy pubs and bare flats, the scene offered a thrilling new soundtrack for young British life. Bands like Suede, Blur, Oasis, Elastica, Pulp ,Supergrass, Radiohead , The Verve , Manic Street Preachers and many more captured the charms and eccentricities of their country.

Yes I know what you mean ..!

Various peripheral bands were involved in Britpop.., but it was essentially about Oasis and Blur.

Too bad they arrived on the scene twenty years late.

Beside the obvious choices of Oasis and Blur, i really enjoy Travis.

If you don't know them check out the songs:
"Why Does It Always Rain On Me",
"Driftwood"
"Side"

Not really tbh, I'd have considered it to be dance music. I just saw it came out in 1997, thought it was earlier than that.

But it is a good song I agree.
