I'll choose the next lineup

J Dilla - Donuts

vs

Madvillain - Madvillainy

I should think Endtroducing would be the more logical album to put against Donuts. Or at least another instrumental hip hop album.

That would be another boring landslide though, so I went with another Stones Throw album on Donuts' level.

I have, but have no interest in either. But as an infamous ex-president once (often) said, that's okay, that's okay.

That was my thinking when I picked my two.

Still have to give Madvillainy a full listen (very familiar with them) but J Dilla isn't bad.

Not my genre, obviously, but have to admit you picked two good ones, Frownie.

As mentioned, I surprisingly liked Donuts, but I still have to lean towards Madvillany for their quirkiness above everything else.
