As some of you might know, Paul's Boutique is one of the most, if the most sample heavy albums ever. After its release, licensing/trademark laws were quickly changed to necessitate other people getting a piece of the monetary pie when samples were used like this. Essentially, these laws have effectively ensured that we'll never get another album quite like this ever again, due to how much money would need to be doled out in royalties to use this many samples on one album. Here's a video that I think goes over every sample used in the album, and where in the album tracks they were used. Only bother with it if you're interested and have listened to the album at least once.
