I don't care how cheesy they are, "say something" is awesome.

Cheesy, but still a guilty pleasure. Some songs are flat out stupid though. I love "No Has Never Had 3 Letters"

Why does every single thread get derailed into a debate on music labels.

I hate how people label music.

Just listen to whatever pleases you.

It's MUSIC.

I don't get how giving music labels makes it so you don't enjoy them?

I can listen to what I like and still say "Well this is screamo. Sure is." It doesn't take away from my listening.

Lion of the North. They are everything I would want my own band to be.

Can't be assed to go through the whole thread, undoubtedly most of the good screamo bands have been mentioned. Can't pass up an opportunity to blow the Saddest Landscape, though, go find their discography NOW.

The Compass Calls is one of the things that got me into the genre. It's great.

It pretty much changed my opinion on screamo in general, in a way, for the longest time screamo was something I would listen to every now and then and after I got the Compass Calls I was just stunned. It is truly epic. Because of it I gave similar bands more of a chance and my iTunes has more or less exploded with screamo in the last year or two.

..so that's why it's got the honor of being my avatar. Incidentally, if you had to eat people, do you think they taste like their ethnic background?

White people... You don't eat white people.

I'm sorry. That's the way this joke has to end.
