i agree. even though i like brand new more than tbs if you really listen to jesses voice its not that great. i can do a little trick with my cd player walkman thingy where i can take the headphones out about halfway & listen to the background voices. & yeah he sucks.

I'm changing my vote because. Tell all your friends was better then your own favorite weapon. But deja blows where you want to be out of the water and judging from the demos. Brand new is going to release a better album, because TBS's new stuff is just kind of..generic.

I think Adam is still a good lyricist, and a much better singer. Lacey is a great lyricist, but an awful singer. So in an Adam Vs. Jesse i'd pick Adam. But bleh, they're both assholes anyway. John pwnz them all =)

this might be true.. but straylight run sucks ass... and at least Taking Back Sunday,and Brand New are good for the most part haha.. just my opinions.. haha

Nolan is a nice guy, a good singer, a good songwriter, a good musician. Jesse lacey is an ass, a great songwriter, awful singer, a mediocre musician. Adam is a below average musician, okay songwriter, okay vocalist, and an asshole. Straylight are more chill music and not the typical double vocalist pop-punk that everyone expected and i'm glad they didn't do the typical style, because I really wouldn't want another one of those bands running around.

Oh, and too back up the adam being a bad vocalist, I use to think he was amazing..then I saw TBS live..a few times and wow he isn't that great.

i completely agree with what your saying.. but Straylight Run aren't mellow enough for me.. and not pop punk enough for me.. there some where in the middle.. but whenever that is i don't like it to much

well ok this is the only way i can explain it:

appleseeds cast first couple of albums were pop punk but mellow.. then low level owl albums were super mellow and almost had no pop punk in it at all.. it was just down right mellow music (good i like it like that aswell)

then there's alkaline trio, brand new, taking back sunday, the used, Moneen... etc... some are really pop punk, some have pop punk with a bit of mellowness to them.. BUT!.. Straylight run just well doesn't do it for me like those bands do.. its like somewhere between moneen, and taking back sunday.. just more mellow, and more well un intersting sounds.. to me!..
