Default Band help

If there's anyone in a band I would appreciate it if they told me some basics on what you need to know and how to play in concerts and stuff.

One word. Practise. Everywhere you can, as often as you can. Practise playing stuff by bands you all like and know, and listen to each other and make it as much fun as possible. I was in a band with this one guy who was only ever talking about being the best and making things happen, and as a result people with genuine ideas about where to take the band were intimidated and didn't like sharing their opinions.

Best thing to do is treat it as a bit of fun, because if you don't enjoy it then it's a pointless exercise.

I think it may be a difference in how they spell it overseas. I noticed it but didn't want to feel like a jackass if that's what it was.

It is one of those wonderful foibles of the English language. Like coloUr.

And fanny means something different over here too.

^ ya, in canada its colour, US its color, but i learned it color so i always spell it that way. then theres the whole "zed" and "zee" thing, and "roof" and, well however you spell how americans say "roof", there was another word where canadians add a "u" in it, can't remember what it is now....
