Yeah the CD is pretty polished compared to their other ones, but it is pretty damn good. Sounds like they've revamped their sound slightly to make it more broadly appreciated. What can I say, it works.

Best tracks:
Kill the Name, Fire the Foundations, and Finace Fuels the sickness at heart

And woah on the song blame the truth. I don't remember them sounding like that. it rocks out with energy.

its cool to see a river made to drown referenced here. i played in that band. we played a total of 2 shows and gave away maybe 30 cds but some how this stuff made its way to a quite a number of people's ears. i just uploaded a torrent of all of the 'a river made to drown' recordings i have, plus something in a similar vein, 'rising tide, sinking ship.' if anyone is interested please download it at demonoid. i cant post the url since i am new... so oh well. just search for it. its up there.

if you need a registration code, say whats up. i have a few.

And since this thread was bumped, I'm going to state that Risk Revival was one of my favorite albums of 2007.

When I saw this thread my hopes were up for a reunion. I'll check out A River Made To Drown in later today.

the members are virginia beach/norfolk/chesapeake, VA.

cant post links so use yr imagination. other bands:

myspace /thievesofthieves (pretty much some roughly structured jams that never got its day in court)

myspace /risingtidesinkingship (one rather long instrumental. other recordings in the torrent)

myspace /abraxasva (dont know much about it and not sure if there is music on the page)

among others i cant seem to find any info on.

torrent is still good!
