I love 'emo'. I put that in quotations because every music is inspired by some kind of emotions. I'm not scene though... scene is childish.

of course your not scene. your so un-scene. I bet you don't own a band shirt. or ever go to shows. crazy not scene kids. only un-scene kids put an x in their name. Thank God that your not scene

I guess Fugazi's lyrics and vocals are considered emo, but I never felt comfortable calling em that. Anyway, I always liked them and Embrace/Rites of Spring stuff.

Some of us do want to help, its just y'know what happens when the whole "real emo" thing comes up. The safest thing to do is just find what you like and stick with that. Why should you feel you have to listen to "real emo".
Anyway I really dont want this to start into an emo debate again, so lets carry on with the original topic of the thread.
