Default UK corner

I feel there isnt enough of the UK in this sub-forum, so im going to link some bands you guys should check out.

Maths- A screamo band i happen to think are ****ing great. Their split with throats is well worth a listen.

MySpace.com - Maths - UK - Punk / Screamo / Indie - www.myspace.com/mathsband

Throats- Im not usually a fan of hardcore i must say. But this band totally did it for me live, and as aforementioned, their recent split with Maths was highly decent.

MySpace.com - THROATS (NEW MERCH!) - London, UK - Hardcore / Punk / Metal - www.myspace.com/throatsofgold

Tortuga- A barrage of noise, i guess you could say theyre mathcore as i believe their arrangements to be too complex for that of a hardcore band. Either way, Kings Of Albany is well worth a listen

MySpace.com - TORTUGA (ALBUM OUT NOW!!!) - Progressive / Alternative / Hardcore - www.myspace.com/tortugakings

The Chronicles of Adam West- Unfortunately now defunct, however, they left behind some superb stuff, Hardcore outfit that regularly delves into heavy mathcore and grind influences, the one EP thry produced is pretty snazzy

MySpace.com - Chronicles of Adam West is Dead - Basingstoke/Reading, UK - Metal / Hardcore / Progressive - www.myspace.com/coaw

Narcosis One of my favourite grindcore bands, members have now gone on to form the Ergon Carousel who are also worth a listen

MySpace.com - NARCOSIS discog on EARACHE RECORDS - UK - Grindcore / Grindcore / Grindcore - www.myspace.com/narcosisgrind

That should do for the time being, if anybody has anymore really decent UK bands they want to share, link them

I left some bands i thought people would already know out like Trencher, St. Louis, Rosa Luxemburg, Bob Tilton, Hell is For Heroes, An Emergency, Rolo Tomassi etc. Interestingly my family home is literally 10 mins away from where St Louis were based, and my brother knew Paul and Benny. I've never been hugely into them though
