Why are you picking on him for?

This thread is called 'hate in the emo community' , neither me nor him are in the emo community. It`s posts like this that give us that opinion.

im not picking on him! hes being just as arrogant and patronising to me!! im just saying that theres no point telling us how much we whine and complain when all you do is fuel it!! i dont go on the punk, classical, blues forum and complain about the way they all speak and what they make posts about, so why bother doing it to us? you said yourself your not even in the 'emo' community...so why are you even bothering to comment on something your not interested in

we're not the ones actually starting these threads in the first place, so how exactly are we fuelling it? neither urban or all night dinah instigate this "negativity" your rambling on about, they and i reply to threads that are negative in the first place.

How about we stop playing "pass the blame" and let this thread die.

Ever heard of an outside perspective?
And in another thread

Maybe if you actually read some of my posts instead of just assuming because I don`t like the genre I spend my time slagging it off , we might get somewhere
I suggest you read the last sentence in that one

Good question, I actually asked one of my friends who listens to nothing but emo what it was, the answer...he did not know for sure, except that it is "Emo"tional and that there are many types. Myself, I like emo-punk, but still listen to acoustic The Early November-emo-stuff. Emo is good. Deal with it.
I am here to explain why people hate emo. Yes there are different types are emo and they are called Emo, Emocore, and Scremo, and there is no such thing as emo-punk. Emo is short for emotional. Emo are songs that talk about bad relationships, sadness, how to cry, and how to have a reationship and a good example of an emo band is THe Used, and a good example of a screamo band is Taking Back Sunday. Punk is volume and anger, and most punk bands are Political like Cheap Sex, Crass, and Dead Kennedys which is the opposite of emo. SOmewhere in the 80's somebody Decided to bring and sad emotional songs trough punk, that band is "Rites of Spring" they also decided to use punk rythms making songs without volume and anger thats what we call EMO because their songs are emotional. If you go to an emo concert to see The Used play I guaranteed you will see many girls cry. THe reason for punks hating emo is because lots of emo bands label themselves Punk, and because emo is a rip off from punk and because emo is a whole diffierent thing from punk because punk has nothing to do with sad emotional songs. Emo is everything that stands against punk, and emo has nothing to do with the 80's punk scene. Ok you might also be hearing that Punks beat up emo kids, know why? because emo is everything against punk, and punks hate them. Ok and lastly emo is not punk and emo is neither a sub genre of punk.

OK I AM NOT HERE TO SAY EMO SUCKS AND THIS AND THAT, BUT I HOPE I MADE THINGS A BIT MORE CLEAR, AND SOME PIECE OF ADVICE FOR ME TO GIVE YOU IS TO DON'T TALK ABOUT EMO WHEN YOU SEE PUNKS, AND DON'T DRESS EMO NEITHER BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS WILL THINK YOUR *** AND SO WILL YOUR FRIENDS. AND ONE MORE THING ABOUT EMO, EMO KIDS WEAR GOTHIC GLASSES AND IF GOTH'S SEE YOU EMO KIDS YOU WILL GET YOUR A!SS KICKED I SWEAR.
