its retarded, i've read reviews about their cds and its all like, "amazing, it was so uplifting. i can really feel the power of christ in it..." i was like, WHAT?! am i missing something.

yeah...i dont listen to them all that much.....but from what i have heard, there is nothing christian about their music.......i would however like to see a band that labeled themselves atheist.

Yeah its been done before. What do you think I've been doing for the past year? And with all my posts including the comprehensive screamo post people still think Emery is screamo.

I think anyone who knows anything should know emery couldnt be included in anything with the word scream.

i think you need to stop being a litte ****. anyone who knows anything might not know anything about emery. for instance, someone who listens to punk music might have an extensive knowledge of that genre and may have never even heard of screamo or emo, seeing as they were originally one and the same.(thank you zealious)

Underoath is good, old stuff is OK. But their lyrics are just too godly for my taste.
Their old stuff is so much better. But the way its put together ont he cd's is HORRIBLE.

no no I listen to them, their OLDer lyrics are too godly though. Dallas (which is my name too) definitely made the older stuff MUCH better.

A pretty good screamo/post hardcore band in my opinion is a local New Jersey band, Fire in the Eyes of the City. An interesting name, I know, but I'd say they're really good. Since I can't post a direct link (yet), all I can say is to search myspace music or purevolume for Fire in the Eyes of the City, if you wanna hear some of their music.

By the way, what are some of Underoath's older albums (ones with Dallas as the singer, I guess)? The only one I have is 'They're only Chasing Safety' and I think that's a newer one. I like 'em, so that's why I'm curious.
