i have to say the subgenre for emo called screamo is 15 times better.

lets see i like....

AFI. Alexisonfire. All That Remains. Arms Akimbo. As I Lay Dying. A Static Lullaby. Atreyu. Avenged Sevenfold. Blood Brothers. Broken Front. Drowning Victoria. Eighteen Visions. From Autumn to Ashes. Poison the Well. Rise Against. Section 8. Underoath. Used (only some songs).

and ya... them.

Ok, I don't want to start a genre war here or anything... but some of the bands people are posting I thought were more hardcorish...

I'm by no means an expert, so I'm hoping to get the genre fiends opinions on this.

In the hardcore thread I posted As I Lay Dying, FAtA, Hopesfall, etc. As did others, everyone accepted they were hardcore... yet in this forum people are saying their screamo. Which is it, what's teh difference... I kinda thought I knew until this came up...

Sorry for bringing up the whole genre thing... from the little time I've been on this board i kinda noticed that genre labeling is a touchy issue.
