I wouldn't mind some meteors or king kurt , if you're offering ;)

Unfortunately I don't have anything by Meteors or King Kurt. Like you, I kind of missed the psychobilly bus. I do have lots of Alien Sex Fiend though.

80's Matchbox to me arent cliche, their first album has heavy psychobilly influences but Royal Society and In The Garden EP represent prgressions in sound that moves them into the realms of thrash and punk, theres a strong psychedelic undertone to their stuff too.

Cheers man - no rush btw :)

Cliche was probably too strong a word - what I meant was the psychobilly I actually have isn't exactly the most obscure within the genre. The first 80s Matchbox album's a classic, second one's great too (can't wait for the new one coming this summer).

I can sort you both with some Meteors if you like? Give us about half an hour and I'll have it up for ya.

We both actually just got In Heaven but if you have anything else I'd certainly be interested.

I usually use this site if I'm looking for the old school psychobilly albums:

Lil'Bils Rockabilly Psychosis

Psychobilly

Just out of curiosity, how much interest is there here in Psychobilly or its variants?

Top bands for me.... Guana Batz, The Cramps, Frantic Flintstones, Caravan and King Kurt.

Although my usual listens are a world away from this stuff, there's something in the rawness of the music that makes for compulsive listening for me.

I have kind of a passing interest in it. I own a couple Meteors albums that are pretty good and I like a fair amount of what I would describe as psychobilly inflected punk.
