Karen, I want those screams, moans and groans back. NOW!
I wish they would have stuck with the overall sound of Isis for this album. It was a happy medium between Fever to Tell and Show Your Bones. "Isis" (the song) is probably one of the best things they've done to date! Karen's growls and Nick's swirling guitar riffs are phenomenal on that track! I liked their debut, even if it tries my patience in places. I never really bothered to keep following them after that though. The new song sounds decent enough - kudos to them for trying something new, however successful it does or doesn't turn out to be.
