Default Transatlanticism, possibly the most epic song of its genre?

I listen to alot of music, and I have yet to find a song that matches Transatlanticism for sheer epic-ness (is that a word?) the way it starts out slow and builds to the chorus, pure genius.

City of Caterpillar - A Little Change Could Go A Long Way
Slint - Spiderland
Indian Summer - Angry Son

That should get you started. You have much to learn.

Had all their albums at one point... tried really hard to get into them, as I love The Postal Service, but I could not. I just find that the music is not very creative and the lyrics are not nearly as good as Ben Gibbard's work on the PS. After about a year I deleted all the albums... That is my opinion anyway.

Yeah, that song is rather far from being epic.

Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
Ben Gibbard's cover of Avril (<3) Lavigne's complicated.
