Wow 40 yo ugly guys

Thats my Kinda music........but i dont like the band

I like them, but i'd rather listen to the postal service.

i hated them when i first heard them, but their kind of infectious. i didn't like transatlanticism too much though, its probably one of the most depressing albums i've ever heard.

i think the band mates are scary. HAHah. i dont like them. they're music is...eh.

There's a Death Cab thread a page back. You didn't even have to look very far.

I think most of their stuff is boring and the epitome of mediocre, but at least The Photo Album is pretty good.

It's a great band though I didn't like Plans as much as I liked The Photo Album which is their best album at the moment.

I was searching under "deathcab" not .. "death cab".
Don't blame me.

Death Cab For Cutie is one of my favorites. I recently bought Transatlanticism and Plans- both excellent. Title and Registration and Tiny Vessels are probably my favorites. :D

Wow, people are pretty angry in this thread.

Anywho, their name and fan base gave me an ugly feeling about them, then I heard a couple of songs. I guess I like the more for their unique sound, and by unique I mean they don't attempt to be another band. Their refrains seem to be the most devestating of any band out today.

I can't explain that, it just is...to me at least.

I love them.

Postal Service is better, though. I like the beats in it. They are really cool.

hahaha, I love how you don't mind the vocals in death cab, but yet you hate the vocals in postal service. you are aware that it's the same singer right?

and i'm 30 and think postal service is a top 5 album from the last few years EASY ;)

haha. I was about to say the same thing...haha...I personally am more fond of Postal Service because the beats are really cool and death cab's music is pretty much all the same-ish. They are both really good, though

My favorite song by them is Follow You Into the Dark (I think it's called)
I personally think it's a love song of sorts. It's just so romantic.

Most people think it's wierd to think of this song as a love song i know. But I can't help it. . .

death cab are one of my favourite indie bands ever, the lack of colour is a classic

iv only recently discovered dcfc and i think they r amazing. i really love their chilled sound. can anyone recommend any other similar bands? iv had a listen 2 the postal service. cant say im that keen but they might grow on me!

death cab are playing in my town in about 3 weeks...
18+ show only though...so i cant see them..

Yes they are. I only have Plans and Translationism or whatever the hell it's called.

I have all their albums, I rarely listen to them though. I saw them live, and surprisingly, they were really good. I didn't think their music was live music worthy. But it was!

I thought the same way until I saw them live and I was stunned the energy was their obviouly they have the talent.

Transatlanticism = one of my favorite albums.

They make me think of my ex-girlfriend same with the Postal Service so I really can't stand them anymore. :(

yeah, thats probably my second favourite track on the album. Your Heart is an Empty Room is my favourite
