Bump.
I just wanted to show my love for this band, I remember the first time I listened to 69 Love Songs, I didn't like it at first and left it for a long time. Then I decided to listen to it again, and holy shit - they're the most wonderfully crafted Pop songs you could wish for. Lots of wit, lots of cynicism. What an absolute brilliant album. The Charm of the Highway Strip is brilliant to. |

It's definitely their best and most daring album, if they got it wrong you'd have a really long dull album but they got it right. The Charm of the Highway Strip and Holiday aren't too far behind... But 69 Love Songs is their masterpiece. |

They're quite a good band, I just love 69 Love Songs. If I have a spare 3 hours and I'm in a mood where I can hold my concentration then it's perfect. So fun, entertaining and charming. I like how most of their albums have common themes running through them. The Magnetic Fields ![]() |
