It's more likely that you're not down with electro-pop...:\

They're just slightly cheesy pretentious electro-pop, and the song doesn't really go anywhere.
And while I love luke steele's voice, nick littlemore is a talentless hack.

I dont know about that. I mean I am a fan of Of Montreal, The Knife, MGMT, Hot Chip, The Blow, LCD Soundsystem, Brian Eno, Architecture In Helsinki, The Octopus Project, and Postal Service. I consider most of them as either electropop, having made an electropop album, or having a related sound. Like I said, maybe it was just this song that I dont like from these guys. I dont think they are horrid or anything, this song just comes of as too delicate with little that excites; it lacks a catchy chorus or a fun bridge, and im not crazy about the singers voice.

That was cheesy, but fun. I can imagine myself enjoying that a lot for a few weeks and then forgetting about it forever, though. :/

Which, to add, is basically how I feel about almost all Aussie bands except Cut Copy.

We are the People is ridiculously catchy, unfortunately they're another MGMT - singles are ok but the album is poor.
