No doubt the Brits have contributed many great technologies to the world, as well as music...

But boy did they inflict irrepairable damage on practically every indigenous population in pratically every colony that they created...

Without turning this into historical debate, singling out one country is absolutely ridiculous. Britain was invaded constantly for nearly 1000 years and the indigenous population decimated along with the original customs and religion. The world has been formed upon bloodshed and turmoil and whilst I am no way condoning actions by any aggressors people should checkout Dark age British history. They would be very surprised at what atrocites went on here against the original inhabitors.
