way to go. respond to ancient-a$$ posts. Anyway, on the topic of Muse, how did they find their way into the classic rock/prog thread? Sure, they may well be prog, but I think they sufficiently qualify as a modern rock band to be perfectly suited to the main rock/metal forum - much like the mars volta or something.

First of all, it was only a few months old post. Secondly, isn't that one of the best things about forums? To keep communication ongoing? You can go hang out in a chatroom, but I am gonna stick around here posting at my own pace. I do this crazy thing you see, whenever I havn't read a specific forum in a while.... I read everything that has been posted since the last time I posted. Call me crazy, but something someone said less than a six months ago (I know, really ancient) in a forum that people are still discussing, does seem somewhat relevant. I mean ****, it took you a whole week to come up with that.

I'm interested in Muse because they are often compared to Radiohead, so what's a good Muse album to start with?

Just listen to Black Holes & Revelations, and if you don't like that, then give up; the entire remainder of their discography is absolute garbage.

I think "garbage" is a bit harsh, but they definitely have progressed over the years.

Wait, their only good album is... their worst album?

Oh Rai, rai, you never make a lot of sense.

I like to start from the beginning whenenver I try and listen to a band that has been suggested to me. If you want something that might hook you and then go back, then get Black Holes and Revelations.

yeah i'd say start from the beginning, though the newer stuff is probably more accessable....

as a huge radiohead fan myself though, you'll probably end up seeing them in the same light as coldplay
