I suppose it would help if I had really focused on the flow, even though I thought it was alright. I've listened to it like three times and never really found much wrong with it. I'm sort of anticipating another Muse album, i've generally always have enjoyed their other releases.

I really hope so. I don't have very high expectations, but their higher than "I think it'll be alright" expectations.

Yeah since Black Holes & Revelations, I've substantially set my standards low for Muse. Nothing will top their earlier releases

What a great insightful post. It really makes me change my mind about getting the new album.

Not really.

My standards for Muse are probably the same for bands like Angels & Airwaves, or even All American Rejects. I don't listen to the bands much (with A&A being an exception), but if I hear they have a new album, i'll listen to it with an open mind to see what it's like. Though, seeing how a lot of artists are (for some reason) trying to incorporate dubstep into their music, I have hope that Muse will not give into the fad and stick to what they are known for.
