Anyone plan on seeing Jack during this new solo tour? I'll be there, March 15th.

@blastingas10: I usually go to vividseats.com Lol, legalized scalping. But They haven't let me down yet.

And there haven't been any dates in Chicago I know of. The closest is Chatanooga TN. Its about a 10 hr drive from Chicago too. Tough break man :/

First off, the man is my god. He's my generation's Hendrix. And the people who hate his music just because it's minimalistic (which totally was NOT his goal to begin with :|) are kinda illegitimate to me. Listen to Son House, or Robert Johnson, or any of the pioneering Delta Bluesmen and say they sucked and don't deserve artistic respect and I'll call you an idiot. Christ, Led Zeppelin riffs were many times extremely simplistic in nature. Of course Jimmy Page was terrible, too. Secondly, I plan on going to the Memphis show, too, Peppermint. See ya there.

Certainly the best quintessential rock artist i can think of right now. Besides the raconteurs charade i've dug all his bands/releases.

I still rock out to conquest sometimes

I think it takes a stroke of genius to turn something simple into something masterful. Jack can certainly do that.

O M G. Jack White. Is just. Heavenly.

Wasn't too much of a fan of The Dead Weather (everything else he has done is just better sounding in my opinion). I LOVE his new track Love Interuption. So sexy, he's just perfect. I have the biggest crush on him. Sorry that sounds so lame but I can't help myself <3

blastingas10 : "I'm very grateful for people who aren't fully absorbed in the technical side of music" - I feel ya, it's just so much easier appreciating music :p

Dead Weather was at least interesting. The Raconteurs were terrible. There were too many times I thought "Benson has too much influence here."

Overall I think Jack White is incredible. His biggest problem, imo, is that he's made too many acts, so they all start to sound one-dimensional. If he just got a band and played whatever the hell he wanted I think he'd get more respect.
