He has changed bands, but always kept 'His sound' on everything he does.

Yes, it is a U2 song though I (obviously) think he does it better. He added a Zeppelin flavor which makes the song "It might get loud" in one ~3 minute song.

I think in many cases he was the band.

Edit: This is from the upcoming Great Gatsby film.
Loved the original song off Achtung Baby, this isnt as good. The Edge is a way better guitarist, yep i said it.

I definitely like that better than U2's version. Yes the edge is "better", he's more technical, more experimental with his sound. But jack has a pretty unique style and tone, you can identify a jack white solo by a note or two, and that is the definition of a unique style. I definitely choose jack over the edge, even if he's not as technically good.

Well it wasn't hard. The Edge doesn't even play guitar. He plays his pedal effects via his guitar.

He showed you what the riff was to elevation...you tell me.

That sounds alot like your describing Jack White. You sure you didn't process this information backwards? OK enough of the trolling, enjoy the new Jack White guys, i hear Rolling Stone is gonna name it album of the new millennium.

Not if U2 puts one out. They ball-wash those guys so hard you'd get the impression that The Edge could play guitar!
