The impression I've always had of Oasis is that they were pretty good at writing bittersweet ballady type songs and pretty bad at rocking out, yet they insisted on trying to go the rocking out route on a very sizable percentage of their songs.

Because they rule at it. It's why I'd rather listen to an entire Oasis album than a Blur album. I love a lot of Blur's songs, but their actual albums don't have as much energy.

The same thing was said about Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, Bread, Journey, Chil Collins, Kenny G. etc etc every generation has an Oasis, it's a vicious cycle.

That song does nothing for me.

I think Squeeze is a bit poppier while Oasis is probably a bit rockier.
