Yeah, I think they're pretty great. Not that they're the best garage revival band, but they do play it well.

What's up with that band. Is Meg his wife or sister or what?

Thanks for your help. Here it turns out that White is Meg White's last name. He's actually John Anthony Gillis. He either legally changed his to White or assumed White as a stage name.

Oh I wondered where that came from. But the downside to being formally married is that a re-union would be nearly impossible. Think about it, Sonny and Cher never got backed together again. I think if they were siblings they might have had a chance a reunion. hmmm That's a good question, what band break-ups are worse as far as not getting back together, is it between married couples or siblings?

I think a lot of fans would like to see a reunion, but I think Jack said that The White Stripes had its time and place, and a reunion would be unlikely to happen.

What a clueless and uninformed statement. They had a ****ing child together, how are you gonna pass that off as "siblings"...? Not to mention they explicitly sung love songs to each other....?

They the White Stripes, not they Sonny and Cher. If Jack and Meg were siblings would they more likely have a reunion? That was the intended question.

The white stripes were the first band I ever got into outside of what my parents were listening to.
