i think that dm's great albums are songs of faith and devotion and for the masses.
but theres one song i absolutely love and thats useless (the single version that is way diferrent than the album's one)

I agree. Useless is an amazing song on an amazing album. Ultra has such a clean sound. It's also the first album without Alan Wilder. Some people have said that Depeche Mode went down hill after Wilder left. But I totally disagree. They've created some amazing stuff in their later years.

Default Depeche Mode is not underrated
Black Celebration. Synth lines inspired by American Composer Brad Fiedel (Terminator Original Score). In reflection, very unique album. Stripped would still have to be my favorite.
