Default Supergrass - Road To Rouen

Got this yesterday.

Just WOW.

You can really tell they`ve matured. This album is gorgeous full of strings & melodies & they still have the really catchy pop hooks , although it`s done in a totally different way. The loud stomping rock songs they did in the past are gone but the songs are so good you dont miss them one bit.

I`ve liked this band since their debut album came out which must be about 10 years ago now & I can honestly say this is the best album they have ever released.

And there`s not that many bands you can say that about after 10 years & 5 albums.

'I Should Coco' has some cracking tunes. A few tunes passed my radar but not enough to declare my undying love for them lol

They really are such a fun band to listen to, and often get overlooked. you only have to listen to a greatest hits selection, like Supergrass is 10, to see how many great catchy songs they did.

they're aiight. they had enough good songs during the heyday of britpop. one of the better acts of the period without any doubt. i'm not sure if they really have done anything worth a mention in the last 10 years, tho.

They're one of the best bands doing business today in my opinion. Road To Rouen is a brilliant, brilliant album. In It For the Money and their self-titled albums are sheer class too
