I still go visit my little buddies fairly regularly, so here's some recent pics of them and the towers I put together for them:

...and here's Moloka‘i, our new fish in our new home. He's rather chill:

For the past year my boy Roger has been having seizures. We were managing it and he seemed to be doing better but yesterday I woke up to find that my boy had suffered multiple seizures in the early morning and couldn't get up, could barely move, maybe couldn't even see or hear anymore, and the seizures just kept coming one after another. We had to drag him to the car to take him to the vet to get put down and we couldn't even get him to lay down in the backseat but he was suffering so much we just said **** it and tried to get him to the vet as fast as we could in case he had another seizure in the car. He was crying the whole way while we hit every ****ing red light on the way until he just collapsed. Once we got him to the vet he still had to have one last seizure until the vet could give him the shot. It was so ****ing horrible why did my boy have to suffer every single second of the rest of his life? He was only three god damn years old.

I'm really sorry, Batty. At least you know he doesn't have to suffer now.

That's terrible Batty, I'm sorry to hear that.

Losing a pet is nearly, if not just as hard as losing a family member. My grandmother was recently visiting from Florida for a couple weeks. My mom took her little pomeranian dog for a walk and two Rottweilers attacked and killed the dog because they weren't leashed.

I hadn't seen my gram so devastated since my grandfather (her husband) died. ****'s ****ing rough bro. You've got my sympathies. RIP Roger.

Don't know what I would have done if that was my dog but I might have gotten mauled by one Rottweiler while choking the other one to death. I would have had a St. Bernard backing me up though. Can't imagine what your grandmother's dog must have been thinking and feeling. Must have been so scared.

Yeah, I suppose I'm thankful my Mom didn't get hurt - she's a feisty woman, but against two angry Rottweilers? Prospects wouldn't look good.

If people would just leash their dogs, you wouldn't need to carry mace with you when you walk your dog down the street. Poor little dog didn't deserve to die because the owners are idiots.
