Default My Official Newbie Thread

Hello all, I just signed up today and look forward to getting to know everyone here better. I am 29 years old, work full time for a marketing research company and have a passion for writing and recording my own music as well as listening to music.

My favorite genre of music is classic rock (Queen, the Stones, Elton john, etc.) but if it's a good song then it doesn't matter to me when or where it came from.

That's all for now, ttyl.

amendment: so far this forum is really great, lots of good stuff to go through.

yea, Welcome to the Boards.

I know if you stick around long enough with an open mind you'll find an entire new library of music you'll fall in love with. And it does sound like you're up for new music.

Thanks guys, very much appreciated... and yes I am up for learning about new music. I have become narrow minded in my old age and need to pry that **** open to see what other stuff is going on in the musical world.

Damn, I was just trying to give your poor noob thread some attention. It looked so sad with the lack of responses and all.

Oh well, I tried. Dill weed!

*exits thread on white horse*
