Why have you put women in apostrophes? Are you implying that they might not actually exist? I have to inform you kid, they're not some media fantasy cooked up to keep social misfits like you confused. They do actually exist. Some of them are even people!

But then, you wouldn't know that, I suppose.

I put them in apostrophes because it occurred to me that the word 'man' alone could be misleading.

If you knew anything about english you would know that 'man' is a perfectly acceptable term in the sense you were attempting to use it. No further clarification was needed, and thus your explanation, in addition to being gramatically incorrect on its own merits, also resulted in making your statement less concise and therefore more confusing.
