That song is just...I have no words to describe Sympathy.

Every band needs a long symphonic song like that, (Hey Jude comes to mind).

Anyways welcome.

That was a good game a few weeks ago when Denver took it to the Heat AT Miami. My man Darrell Arthur from Kansas looked sharp that game!

Thats a fun one. We do that one too. Easy solo, so it's kind of my 'break' song where I try to sip on a beer while strumming along. After playing Schenker, Angus, and Trower, my hands need the rest.

How often does your band play?

Replacements, one of my true loves. Saw them at riot fest last year and I was just blown away, never thought I would get that chance. It all starts with the holy trinity (let it be, pleased to meet me, Tim) but everything is worth a listen including the solo westerberg stuff. Got to play Alex Chilton live once but most of my past and current band members don't understand my love of the band.

Denver is so up and down this year it's frustrating. No threat to Miami, that's for sure.

Yeah, that song is such a crowd pleaser and it's so damn easy. There are so many microbreweries here in the Boulder area we never lack for gigs. We try to do 2 a month and no more although we do 3 or 4 on occasion. Went from being a very loud electric band (played a ton of Trower) to being an acoustic outfit. All the little brewpubs love it because it's not as loud, we take up less space, etc... Just bought a new Martin so I have a backup acoustic now.

How about yourself? You get $200 plus all the good beer you can drink like we do?

Ahhh... I wish, 50 bucks a man is the normal standard. We play quite a few out of the ordinary places though, and money isn't really an issue. Lot's of friends venue's kinda thing lately, but I have gotten as much as 300 in a night at times. Depends on the door and the crowd. Boulder sounds like a good gig. Chicago area is a bit saturated with good talent to make enough of a ripple to make any real money, but I'll keep pluggin at it.

I meant $200 for the whole band so we are right in line!

We certainly don't do it for the money. Pays for gas, website, advertising if you are lucky.
