Very nice.
I want to listen to a few more of theirs and let you know.
Love the lyrics.
Other people just hear screaming,we hear poetry.

You're talking about the Wintersun song? While I find their songs tend to have somewhat generic subject matter, I find Jari Maenpaa manages to neatly word the lyrics in such a way as to make the most from those subjects.

Wintersun's two LPs are both great and worth checking out. The second one (which that song is from) is generally more symphonic and epic than the debut LP.

Here are a couple other projects Jari (the main driving force behind Wintersun) had taken part in. Note that the second song is pretty harsh black metal.

Ensiferum's "Token of Time"

Arthemesia's "The Breeze of Grief"

That's cool about getting you into Elvenking. I only know a little bit of their body of work, and I've been meaning to check them out further, so this may be my cue for that.

Another power metal band which I think highly of and unlike Elvenking I have a better knowledge of is Blind Guardian.

Here are a few songs from them to check out.

Also since you liked that melodic black metal, surprisingly, in a good way. Here's another rec from that genre.
