It would be interesting to see a broader view of the situation, like if the man was alone and surrounded by a hostile, opposing crowd. Or if he was just some crazy dude.

I remember accidentally catching an episode where they had to bob for apples (not actual apples but I don't remember what they were) in a trough of coagulated cow's blood and I could never watch the show ever again
