First holiday ever abroad was with 8 mates for 2 weeks in Ibiza.
Didn't see the hotel for 2 days and nights.
2nd week we got slung out.
3 arrested and 1 killed.
Crazy days.

Your crazy days were obviously a lot crazier than mine. I think the worst thing me and my pals acheived was getting banned from a swimming pool in Malta for throwing a beer glass into the pool one night.

Ah ! Right ! I forgot that Kos is an island with quite a reputation. Perhaps I don`t need to see those beach snaps after all, mankycaant. But thanks anyway!

He got hit by a taxi while riding a hired moped on the second to last day.
He died the next week with complications (internal injuries).

The very next year we went to Benidorm and all got back safely in one piece.
Although there was another group of lads from our home town (who we knew but didn't hang about with) and they lost a friend when he fell from a hotel balcony.
This was the late 80's. A time when "Lads" holidays abroad were relatively new and very cheap. Beer included.
Anyone who's old enough to remember those days won't be in the least bit surprised at what went on back then. Like I said...crazy days.

EDIT: Seems some things never change :/

Damn, right-track. I remember my mom telling me a story of when my parents went to the Dominican Republic for a week back in 1985-ish, and two college aged kids who were at the same resort died. I know that one of them drowned but I don't know what happened to the other guy. One was American and the other one was Canadian.
