I'd post some pictures of a young (and, back then, quite handsome, yes, I said that about my younger self) Paul Smeenus, but I don't know how to digitize from the plate glass daguerreotype

You can post a scan of an intact daguerrotype of you, like the one that you sent me by mail..



And you can open the casing and scan the photograph without it to show more detail. Here, I'll do this one for you:
